Simple, classic, done right
We paint the way race liveries used to be done: masked lines, solid color, a clean clear coat. If you want a portrait or a mural, we’ll happily point you to an artist.
We do
- Solid color repaints & two-tone splits
- Center stripes, racing stripes, blocks, halos, chin-bar accents
- Pinstripes and simple sprayed fades (light airbrush)
- Race numbers, driver name, country flag
- Sponsor and team logos from your vector files
- Matching rear spoiler / wing and vent covers
- Gloss, satin or matte 2K clear
Every job is masked and sprayed by hand — nothing is a sticker.
We don’t
- Portraits, characters, skulls, flames, murals
- Freehand airbrush art or realism
- Chrome, gold leaf, hydro-dip
- Design custom logos from scratch
- Paint over a previous custom paint job
- Paint helmets that fail our safety check
Keeping the menu short is how we keep the price and the wait low.
Three packages, honest prices
Prices are for labor, materials and clear coat on a helmet you supply. Every package includes a rendering before we mask a single line.

- Race number + driver name, both sides
- Country flag or 1 team logo (vector supplied)

From color idea to clear coat
Five steps. You spend ten minutes on the form and one round of feedback; we do the rest.
- STEP 01
Send the brief
Pick a package, describe the layout, name your colors (Pantone, RAL or a photo of the kart), add number, name and logos.
10 minutes - STEP 02
Approve the rendering
We send a driver’s-left profile rendering on your helmet model. Tweak colors or line placement, then sign off.
2–3 business days - STEP 03
Ship or drop off
Send the helmet in its original box to our Napa shop, or drop it off. Visor and padding stay in — we strip and bag everything.
Pay 50% deposit - STEP 04
Prep, paint, clear
Shell is de-glossed, masked, sprayed in automotive base coat and 2K clear, then cured at low temperature and polished.
2–3 weeks in the booth - STEP 05
Reassembled & shipped
Visor, vents, padding and certification labels go back exactly as they came. Photographed, boxed, insured, tracked.

What we can take in

- Base
- Factory gloss white, gloss silver or bare carbon. Matte-black factory shells add a $60 de-gloss step.

Paint that respects the shell
Helmet shells are fiberglass, carbon or polycarbonate. Aggressive solvents soften some of them — that’s why we never sand through factory clear, use automotive water-borne base coat, and cure at low temperature only. The inner liner, chin strap and labels stay exactly as certified.
Custom paint is common in pro racing, but some manufacturers say it may affect their warranty. Check your brand’s policy; we’ll tell you honestly if a helmet isn’t a good candidate.
Questions we get every week
How long does it really take?
3–4 weeks from the day your helmet arrives, including rendering sign-off. Before a big race weekend or in early season the queue grows; ask for the rush option if you have a date.
Can I bring my own colors?
Yes. Send a Pantone or RAL code, a paint code from your kart, or just a photo. We mix to match and show the rendering before spraying.
Will the paint chip or fade?
We use the same base coat and 2K urethane clear as a car body shop. It’s fuel and UV resistant and can be hand-polished for years. Rock chips from a paddock are possible on any helmet; we can touch up small chips at cost.
Do you sell the helmet too?
Not yet. Buy your helmet from your usual dealer and have it shipped straight to us; that saves one leg of shipping.
Can you match my kart or trailer livery?
That is exactly what the Team Livery package is for. Send photos of the kart and suit and we build the layout around them.
What if I don’t like the rendering?
Each package includes one to three rendering rounds. If we can’t land on a design you like before painting, we refund the deposit minus a $50 design fee.
Tell us about your helmet
Fill this in and you’ll get a price and the first rendering slot within two business days. No deposit until you approve the design.
